MANSFIELD — A new crop of administrators is taking the reins at Mansfield Middle and Mansfield Senior High School.
The Mansfield City School board appointed two head principals and three assistant principals during its July 9 and 16 meetings.
Kris Beasley will be the new high school principal this year. Beasley has worked for the district for nearly two decades, most recently as high school assistant principal. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a special education teacher, then taught history. His career as an administrator began five years ago as Senior High’s dean of students.
“I think it’s a tremendous honor, being a Mansfield Senior High graduate, to have the opportunity to have a positive impact on the community,” said Beasley, a 1994 Senior High graduate.
“I’m beyond proud of the group that’s going to be surrounding us at the high school and in the middle school. I think great things are coming, so it’s a very exciting time.”

Beasley said his goal as the new principal is to get kids thinking big and planning for their future.
“I do tell these kids I love them, because I’m one of them. I grew up on Greenwood, I graduated from Senior High,” he said.
“We’ve got people from Senior High who went on to be astronauts, doctors, lawyers. Now you’ve got a head principal of Mansfield Senior High School. I just want the kids to understand that whatever you want to do, we can help you get there.”
Beasley will lead the high school alongside two new assistant principals — Enisia Lee and Kaitlin Endsley.
Endsley has been with the district since 2015, working at the high school as a social studies teacher and teacher leader.
Lee’s career in the district dates to 2011, when she was hired as a long-term substitute. Since then, she’s worked as a teacher and school liaison. She spent last year teaching at the Tyger Digital Academy.
Outside the school system, Lee runs Princess Endowment, a youth-focused non-profit, and heads up Mansfield’s Juneteenth committee.
Lee said she’s excited for the chance to make a bigger impact on students and families.
Glorioso, Gilbert to lead middle school
Whitney Glorioso will be the new principal of Mansfield Middle School this fall.
Glorioso worked in the district since 2010, serving as instructional technology coordinator, Title 1 intervention specialist, teacher and dean of students.
Stan Gilbert has spent the last two years as a dean of students at the high school. He’ll take up the mantle of assistant middle school principal.
Gilbert has worked for Mansfield City Schools since 2008. He’s spent the bulk of that time working with students with special needs.
“I’d never considered administration, but Mr. Jefferson approached me and gave me another perspective,” Gilbert said. “It offers me the opportunity to make a bigger impact on more students, our families and our community.”
Gilbert said he’s looking forward to working with Glorioso.
“We were both deans at the same time and we worked well together,” he said. “We’re excited to move forward.”
