MANSFIELD, Ohio – For those that have always wanted to participate in local farmers’ markets, but didn’t know how to get started, North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC) will host a workshop, “Introduction to Farmers Market Vending.” The class will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 199 N. Main St., Mansfield.

“’Introduction to Farmers Market Vending’ will be a great class. Participants will to learn the ins and outs of market vending as well as ways to maximize their money,” said NECIC AmeriCorps VISTA Falon Allen, who will lead the workshop.

The workshop will explain vending requirements for the North End Farmers Market, as well as other Richland County farmers markets.

Light refreshments will be served. The program is free and open to the public.
