John James “J.J.” Douglas, 42, of Shelby, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016.
J.J. was born on Feb. 11, 1973 to John and Sandra (Penrod) Douglas.
J.J. was smart, kind, and funny; a family guy, and a wonderful father to his children. His family was very important to him and he loved them deeply. He loved playing softball and baseball, and watching Cleveland Indianb Baseball. His favorite sports teams were the Patriots, Cavaliers, and OSU.
John is survived by his son, Timothy Douglas, of Ontario; his daughter, Cassandra Taylor, of Mansfield; his mother, Sandra Douglas, of Shelby; his sisters, Leslie (Brent) Bowman, of Shelby, and Tara (Jim) Woodlee, of Texas; his former spouse, Kelly Douglas, of Ontario; two nieces, Raechel (Billy) Burkart and Cearra Bowman; three nephews, Casey (Christina) Holloway, Corey Holloway, and Brent Bowman, Jr.; one great-nephew, Bryson Holloway; and one great-niece, Laney Burkart.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Douglas; his son, Curtis Douglas; a niece, Ashleigh Lindsay; as well as his great-niece, Patience Lindsay.
There will be no visitation or services held. Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Douglas Family.
