Myrtle Seiter, 72, of Shelby, passed away late Friday evening, Dec. 11, 2015, at OhioHealth Shelby Hospital.
She was born July 23, 1943, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to the late Walter Edward Queen and Olive (Harr) Young.
She was a Mansfield Senior High School graduate. Myrtle enjoyed Bingo and her work at Therm-O-Disc. She was a long-time member of Faith Chapel.
Myrtle is survived by two sons, Michael Seiter and Roger A. Seiter, both of Mansfield; four grandchildren, April Seiter, Cynthia Seiter, Raymond Seiter, and Jessica Warner; six great-grandchildren, Aaron Seiter, C.J. Seiter, Robert Seiter, Summer Edwards, Nina Edwards and Robbie; and two cousins, Jean Riley and Karen Youghman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father who raised her, Russell R. Young.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Copley officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
