BUTLER: Robert H. Roy, 70, of Butler, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at OhioHealth Hospital Mansfield.
Robert was born on February 24, 1950 to Robert M. and Rebecca E. (Cornette) Roy and was raised in Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1968. Bob served in the Ohio Air National Guard from 1968-1974. He was employed by the phone company for 51 years.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, and kept busy by doing various projects both inside and outside of the home. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Molly; daughters Heather (Clark), Nicole (Mike), and Shanna; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; siblings Jan, Lorraine, Melody, Heidi, and Tony, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers-in-law, and 3 nephews.
The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is assisting the Roy family with services. A private visitation will be held on Saturday with a private graveside service to follow immediately after. Masks will be required during the visitation and graveside service.
