MANSFIELD: Arlene Mae (Apple) Hazlett, age 86 of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at UH Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland.
Arlene was born in Mansfield on April 7, 1935, the daughter of Michael & Eva (Neider) Apple. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High and lived in Mansfield all her life. Over the years she had jobs at Westinghouse, The D&K, and worked many years at K-Mart before retiring.
Arlene enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and baking desserts and sweet treats. She was fiercely independent and liked to keep busy. Arlene will be remembered for her honest spirit and as a loving wife, Mom, and Granny who loved to spoil her grandsons.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael & Tabitha Hazlett and grandsons Chase Hazlett & Aaron Hazlet all of Mansfield.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Michael & Eva Apple, her brother Richard Apple, and her husband Curtis Hazlett.
