Janet Leigh Holbrook-Beeney, 57, of Columbus passed this life on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2017 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Beeney was born on Sunday, May 1, 1960 to the late Willie and Evelyn (Hirtz) Holbrook in Mansfield, living in Columbus the past 20 years. Janet attended the School For The Deaf and graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, Class of 1979.
She loved to attend garage sells, shopping, fragrance candles, and anything with bling. Janet was very tidy, and particular about her home and appearance.
She was a loving, caring and giving person, showering her grandsons whom she adored with all of her goodness.
Janet is survived by her sons: Kareem Issac Harris, of Reynoldsburg, and LJ Harris, of Columbus; three grandsons: Cae’Zar Harris, Kelil Johnson, and Landyn Allen; two sisters: Jamie Tate, of Mansfield, and Diane Holbrook, of Columbus.
In addition to her parents Janet was preceded in death by her sister Deborah Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Ruth Anna Lee Williams Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Services. Friends may call at the chapel beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Interment will be in Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
