ONTARIO — Local impressionist Daniel Ferguson reappeared on “America’s Got Talent” Tuesday night as one of 20 acts that performed for a spot in the live show.

This time, the Ontario resident sang Maroon 5’s song “Sugar” in the voices of Marge Simpson, Gollum, Bobby Generic from “Bobby’s World” (a show created by AGT Judge Howie Mandel), among other voices.

Although Ferguson, who works as a sales representative for WMAN and iHeartMedia, Inc., didn’t advance to the next round, this may not be the end of his AGT journey.

He could be among the lucky few who make it to the live show as a “Wild Card” act. Ferguson said these acts are chosen based on fan preference.

“I don’t know how exactly it works or how it’s decided, but to have a second chance to redeem myself on the show would be a great opportunity,” he said.

There’s also a possibility that the Austintown native may audition for the next season of AGT.

“If I were to audition again I’d have to step up my act to make sure that it’s worth the judges’ approval,” he said.

In the meantime, Ferguson plans to continue making content on social media. Follow him on his YouTube channel, Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram.

“I’ve garnered a decent following on social media and this (being on AGT) has definitely given me more motivation to keep pushing toward a career as an entertainer,” he said.
