MANSFIELD — Made in the 419, the small-batch apparel brand started by Richland Source in 2014, announced its new winter line of gift items this past week along with a number of special offers for Richland Source readers.
New items and designs available online include pullover sweatshirts, baseball tees, hoodies, pint glasses, and women’s tanks. Products are designed and sourced from within the 419 area code.
This will be the first year the brand has participated in the post-Thanksgiving holiday shopping blitz.
“It’s been a lot of work to prepare, but we are very excited to be part of the fun,” said Jasmine Evans of Richland Source. “We are offering great specials now thru Cyber Monday (Nov 29), including 15% off all online orders over $50 with the promo code 419SOURCE.”
That offer is only being made available to Richland Source readers, according to Evans.
Along with 90 other area retailers, Made in the 419 will be open all day on Small Business Saturday. They will give away a free copy of the local music compilation ‘Newsroom After Hours‘ with every purchase on the day.
The brand aims to deepen customers’ connections with their hometown by giving them a way to outwardly express their pride of place, according to the brands’ web site.
“The goods we sell are intended to give our customers a way to tell their story and connect with their tribe. It doesn’t matter if you’re from Toledo or Sandusky, Bellville or Bowling Green. We are all – in some way – made in the 419.”
Made in the 419 products are also available in several area retailers, including PurseSnickety, Poppy Boutique, and Relax It’s Just Coffee.
