LEXINGTON — The Mid-Ohio Shriner Club, based in Mansfield, is hosting its 3rd Annual Poker Run and Bike Show at The Local at 97 on July 22 in Lexington.

The event is during at the same time as the AMA Vintage Bike Weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, also in Lexington.

Organizers promise something for everyone during the event, which runs from noon to midnight.

Three live bands will be on stage, as well as food trucks from around the area, different area vendors, a statewide Cornhole Tournament and lots of contests, including the first Ponchos Tacos Taco Eating Contest.

The Mid-Ohio Shriners are members of the Al Koran Shrine, which covers the northeast counties of Ohio and is an organization that has a focus on children in our area.

“As part of the Shriners International Organization, we do more than just drive around in parades in the little yellow cars with funny hats,” said Michael H. Seveigny, vice president of the Mid-Ohio Shrine Club.

“We are a group of local men working to help children in a unique way with our philanthropy in Ashland, Crawford, Morrow and Richland counties,” he said.
