Geraldine Brown Wycoff, 86, of Mansfield, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Lexington Court Care.
Born October 1, 1926 in New Washington, OH she was the daughter of Russell Jay and Pearl Fairy (Brown) Wallimire. She had worked in Bucyrus during World War II as a “Rosie the Riveter”. She retired from Mansfield City Schools and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She will be remembered for her cookies and pecan rolls at Christmas time. She enjoyed traveling and cruises and was a big Tygers fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Ted) Hoover; two sons, Curtis Wycoff and David (Stacy) Wycoff; six grandsons and two granddaughters; two great grandsons; and a sister, Jean Ridenour. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wycoff.
There will no calling hours or services at this time.
