John Henry ”Cisco” Riddlebaugh Jr., 75 of Galion, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 surrounded by his family at his residence. He had been in declining health.

He was born November 25, 1939 in Galion and was the son of John H. and Ruth E. (Haga) Riddlebaugh Sr. On March 24, 2001 he married Joann (Hammond) Moyer and she preceded him in death on May 18, 2009.

He was a truck driver for Wilcox Trucking and enjoyed motorcycles and fishing. John liked talking on the CB radio and his handle was “Cisco”. He loved John Wayne movies and memorabilia and was well-known as a jokester and prankster.

John is survived by his children, Raymond (Brandi) Riddlebaugh of Galion, Michael (Amber) Riddlebaugh of Mansfield, Kimberly (Rodney) Sand, Amanda Riddlebaugh and John H. Riddlebaugh III all of Galion, Becky Branam of Maine; his step-children, Cindy Hall of Galion, Bobby Moyer of Bellville, Gary Moyer of Mansfield and Tomeka Moyer of Galion; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, James Riddlebaugh of Galion; his sister, Joanne Sharrock of Mansfield; half-brother Roy Osborne of Marengo and his friends with whom he made his home with Chris and Bobbie McMillen of Galion.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brother, Harry Riddlebaugh and his half-sister, Anna Ruth McMahan.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 12 p.m. with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
