Viola L. Finley Beidelschies Keating, 93, went to meet her Saviour January 6, 2015.

Born November 10, 1921 in Lexington, OH, she was the daughter of Karl and Mary (Drumm) Finley and was the third of sixteen children. Viola retired from Madison Schools where she worked as a secretary for 23 years. A very sweet lady, she wrote beautiful poetry, loved tending to the flowers in her gardens, and traveling. Viola was a faithful member of Caesarea Church, Woodville Grace Brethren, and Grace Bible Church in Lucas, also teaching Sunday school well into her 80’s. She was also a member of the Post Office Auxiliary and Grace Brethren WMC.

Surviving are her son, Edward (Patricia) Beidelschies; daughters, Mary Jane (Butch) Forrest; and JoAnne (Dale) Forrest; grandchildren, John Beidelschies, Joe Beidelschies, Jeremy Beidelschies, Brian Forrest, Christy Cuschleg, Jonathan Forrest, Andrew Forrest, Benjamin Forrest, and Matthew Forrest; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Mildred “Millie” Cairns, Saralee “Sally” Mills, Lauretta Mae “Letty” Barnhill, Harold Finley, Lowell “Skipper” Finley, Larry Finley, and John Finley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Edward Beidelschies; second husband, Donald Keating; and siblings, Mary Francis Zehner, Elwood Finley, Wayne Finley, Roberta “Mickey” Thompson, Karlene Kress, Edwin Finley, Karl Finley, and Jenny Culler.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Family and friends are invited to visit from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will occur in Mansfield Cemetery.
