Ruth Ann Miller Howell, 81, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 while in the care of Kingston of Ashland.
She was born Jan. 29, 1933 in Mansfield and was the daughter of William and Margaret Miller. Ruth was an avid bingo player. She loved casinos and playing cards. Her pastimes included playing corn hole and watching sports, particularly football and golf.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Russ (Terri) Howell and Mike (Beth) Howell both of Mansfield; two sisters, Betsy Newberry and Martha Frank; two brothers, Howard Miller and Don Miller; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burnley; her parents, William and Margaret Miller; three sisters, Mary Lyons, Verda Reasor, and Vi Emerson; three brothers, Ben, Jim, Ralph, and Dave Miller.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2014 with the funeral services following at 1 p.m. at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD. 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, Ohio 44905. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.
