Louise Lee

Louise (Rogers) Lee, 83, formerly of County Road # 57, Galion, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 at Signature Healthcare, Galion. She battled Alzheimer’s disease for the last 15 years.

Louise was born in Edison, on Aug. 29, 1930 to the late Edward and Edna (Weaver) Rogers.  She married William R. Lee on December 1, 1962 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1993.

Louise retired from ITT-North Electric, Galion after 43 years of service. Louise loved working in her garden, enjoying both flowers and vegetables. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed doing ceramics in her younger years.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry & Sheila White of Lexington, three grandchildren, Nicole and Brian Waeltz, Shawna and Travis Church and Phil and Nicki Lilly, eleven great grandchildren, Brock Church, Zach Church, Colin Waeltz, Blake Waeltz, Gunner Lilly, Shelbey Lilly, Gracie Lilly, Hailie Lilly, Denver Lilly, Devon Lilly  and Laura Lilly. Alice is also survived by three brothers and two sisters, Charles Rogers of Mt. Gilead, Robert and Sue Rogers of Bucyrus, Betty Richardson of Mt. Gilead, Harold and Ruth Rogers of Galion, and Virginia Balliett of Galion.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Evelyn Lilly, her grandson, Robert D. Lilly, brothers, Bill Rogers, John Rogers, Richard Perrin, Kenneth Perrin, her sisters Dorris Pennington and Dorothy Perrin and infant twin sisters Thelma and Wilma Rogers.

Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 at Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Glendale-Union Cemetery, Cardington.
