Archaeology Dig – Saturday, Aug. 23, 9 a.m. Meet at 1727 State Route 19.
The public is welcomed to join Crawford Park District Naturalist Chris Rothhaar as he uncovers treasures from the site of the former Seccaium Park dining hall. This program is for adults and families with children ages 8 and older. Those interested should meet at 1727 State Route 19, the property owned by Ed & Dee Speece at 9 a.m. Bring gloves, tape measures, and trowels, if you have them. Shoes or boots are recommended for this program. The Speece property is located between Bucyrus and Galion on State Route 19, west of State Route 602.
Asters – Sunday, Aug. 24 3 p.m., Unger Park, 1303 Bucyrus-Nevada Road.
Meet Crawford Park District Naturalist, Warren Uxley, at the Unger parking lot for this program on Asters.
