BUCYRUS — Three people were arrested by Bucyrus Police, and suspected drugs including “Grey Death” were seized after a Sunday morning raid.
According to Bucyrus Police reports, officers served a search warrant in the 1100 block of East Warren Street at 10:56 a.m. Jeremy Smith, 26, Karissa Smith, 46, and Kristopher Davidson, 35, were arrested for felony possession of drugs. Smith and Davidson had active felony arrest warrants. Davidson was also wanted for a hit-skip crash and driving under suspension in 2019.
Police say officers seized a large amount of suspected crack cocaine, crystal meth, tar heroin, suspected “grey death” heroin with fentanyl and a small amount of marijuana. Other evidence of drug paraphernalia was also seized and the subjects are being held pending a court appearance.

6:41 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of S. Highland and Warren St.
7:21 p.m. Officers did a welfare check in the 1700 block of Marion Rd.
7:30 p.m. A welfare check was requested in the 1300 block of Whetstone St.
9:02 p.m. A false alarm was investigated in the 200 block of Gaius St.
9:19 p.m. Officers assisted Crawford County Sheriff’s Department in the area of Woodlawn and Failor St.
9:22 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 100 block of N. Lane St.
9:51 p.m. A disturbance in the 800 block of Wilbur St. was loud children.
10:04 p.m. A disturbance in the 500 block of Failor St. was investigated. It was a brotherly domestic argument and one of the involved left the area.
10:15 p.m. A written traffic warning was issued in the area of Lane and Mary St.
10:45 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 800 block of Hopley Ave.
11:48 p.m. Officers responded to an alarm drop in the 200 block of Gaius St. It was a false alarm.
11:53 p.m. A 911 hang-up call was investigated in the 500 block of Failor St. No incident was located.
Saturday, Feb. 15
12:09 a.m. A traffic citation for driving under suspension was issued in the Plymouth St and Sandusky Ave area. The driver also had a warrant out of Crawford County. They were issued a court date.
12:35 a.m. Officers responded to an animal complaint in the 500 block of Prospect St. The owner tended to their dogs.
12:54 a.m. A parking citation was issued in the 100 block of Wallace Ave.
10:32 a.m. Officers attempted a welfare check in the 800 block of S. Sandusky Ave.
10:48 a.m. A report of a disturbance was investigated in the 1300 block of Willard St. It was a civil dispute and the parties dispersed.
1:35 p.m. A 35-year-old man was arrested on a Richland County warrant in the 600 block of N. Lane St. after a report of a disturbance in the area. Jerry Carroll was there, intoxicated and refusing to leave. He was transported to Crawford County Jail to be held for Richland County.
2:10 p.m. Officers assisted Wise Funeral Service with an escort.
2:21 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of Franklin St. reported damage to her yard by a vehicle during the night.
3 p.m. Officers assisted EMS in the 500 block of S. Poplar St.
6:42 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of S. Sandusky and Rensselaer St.
6:55 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of E. Charles and Lane St.
7:19 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of W. Beal Ave and Marion Road.

9:11 p.m. Officers investigated a reported suspicious person in the 500 block of S. East St. A security check was made of the property for the caller.
10:01 p.m. A traffic stop was made and Norman Shope III was arrested in the 400 block of N. Sandusky on a Crawford County warrant. He was also issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension and he was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. The passenger was issued a citation for wrongful entrustment.
10:28 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the Kaler and Southern Ave area.
11:40 p.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the Earl and Plymouth St area.

12:28 a.m. Officers responded to a juvenile complaint in the E Southern Ave and Rogers St area. The kids were trying to get to their friend’s house.
12:59 a.m. Officers investigated a disturbance in the Washington Square area and the subjects were dispersed.
1:07 a.m. A suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of W Perry St was a parent picking up a student after an event.
1:17 a.m. Officers attempted to serve a warrant in the Washington Square area.
1:51 a.m. Officers issued a verbal warning in the 400 block of S Walnut St.
2:07 a.m. A report of a drunk person dismissed from a bar was investigated in the 100 block of W Mansfield St.
2:22 a.m. A verbal traffic warning was issued in the Washington Square area.
3 a.m. Officers assisted the Ohio State Patrol in the 600 block of S Sandusky Ave. at a traffic stop involving a vehicle search.

4:50 p.m. Officers disposed of syringes and spoon found in the area of Plymouth and High St.
5:18 p.m. A domestic disturbance was reported by a walk-in complainant at the Police Department.
6:53 p.m. A report of an intoxicated male wearing a light brown jacket and hat walking in the 1600 block of Marion Rd. was investigated. The male was not located.
7:02 p.m. A traffic complaint of a motorist not using headlamps was made on S. Lane St.
7:53 p.m. A report of a dog barking in the 400 block of E. Charles St. was investigated. The owner was notified of the complaint.
8:44 p.m. Officers assisted a motorist locked out of their vehicle in the 700 block of Ann St.
8:50 p.m. A theft report was made in the 1300 block of Home Circle Dr. A male known to the complainants had taken a car key fob and was using it to turn on the car.
9:19 p.m. Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of Dudley St. A pedestrian wearing a suede jacket and jeans was yelling into a cell phone while walking.
Monday, Feb. 17
12:33 a.m. Officers investigated a reported suspicious person car prowling in the area of Sear St. and Ann St.
12:35 a.m. Officers investigated a reported suspicious person wearing a white shirt or jacket and shorts in the 400 block of W. Mansfield St. Reportedly the man tried to get into the caller’s vehicle stating he needed a ride. The man was last seen in the wooded area near Riveredge trailer court.
1:19 a.m. Officers spoke with a subject about threats he was receiving.
1:50 a.m. Officers assisted a Crawford County Sheriff deputy on a traffic stop.
4:06 a.m. Officer investigated a reported suspicious person wearing a white coat and sunglasses trespassing in a garage in the area of Plymouth St. and Earl St. The male was located and trespassed from the property involved.
5:46 a.m. Officers investigated a reported suspicious person wearing shorts, a light-colored coat and sandals, with a bandana around his face walking around a residence in the 700 block of E. Irving St. Officers located the subject and requested an ambulance and the man was transported to the hospital for care.
