The Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a Business Spotlight at Goodwill Industries on Thursday to celebrate 50 years of service to Ashland and the surrounding areas.
Twenty-five business and community leaders attended the event, where they learned about Goodwill’s mission which includes employer services, employment opportunities, job training and other community-based programs that assist those needing employment. Goodwill Industries works to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals and families by strengthening communities, eliminating barriers to opportunity, and helping people in need reach their full potential through learning and the power of work.
