Spitzer Autoworld enjoys the Mansfield and Ontario region so much so that the company recently opened its third dealership in the area. The company’s latest addition is Spitzer Kia of Mansfield, located at 1771 W. Fourth St., Ontario.

Employees, city officials, friends, and family gathered at the new facility for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

Alison Spitzer, vice president of Spitzer Management, said that the close proximity to the highway situates their new facility in a “magnificent location.” She believes that not only will the company benefit area residents, but also other local businesses, too.

“We get a lot of people, with the internet and how people shop today, that are willing to drive to the area [from Cleveland and Columbus] and do business here, and in turn, spend some excess dollars here on lunch or whatever it might be. So we actually think that being at this location is going to drive some more business to the area,” she explained.

The new 18,000-square-foot facility is located on a shared campus with Spitzer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, which opened in July of last year.

Spitzer said that between the two facilities, there will be double the jobs compared to Spitzer’s other establishment in Mansfield—Spitzer Motors of Mansfield.

Spitzer Motors of Mansfield, located at 744 Park Avenue West, was opened in 1955. Spitzer noted, “We’ve done some renovations to our Park Avenue West building, and we’re going to be selling used vehicles out of there with a whole separate team, so we basically have three operations now going on in the area.”

Her father and President and CEO of Spitzer Management, Alan Spitzer, stated that while Spitzer Motors of Mansfield used to be the company’s smallest operation, it is now one of the largest.

“I’m excited about the future, I’m excited about the team, I’m excited about Kia,” Alan Spitzer said. “I predict that this will be the number one brand in the market regardless of make—Chevy, Ford, Toyota, any of them—because we’ve got the team and we’ve got the leadership to do it.”

Alison Spitzer thanked all of the supporters who helped make the addition possible, including General Manager Matt Studer. She said to Studer, “Without you and your team, none of this would have been possible.”
