SHELBY — Shelby welcomed a new business to Main Street during a grand opening on Saturday morning.

DomBoElli’s Baby and Toddler Boutique & CNS Creations now occupy the storefront at 48. W Main St. in downtown Shelby. The shop offers many selections of fashionable and trendy baby/infant apparel, as well as décor such as signs, blankets, and mugs that would attract new or expectant mothers.

“Shops like this that are unique and fun to come into and are interesting, they really help to make a vibrant downtown”, said Jessica Gribben, Economic Development Director for Northern Richland County and the city of Shelby.

DonBoElli’s also offers personalized items and gifts that can be customized to suit whatever situation is necessary. In addition, customers have the opportunity to book private events on Saturdays and Sundays with a limit of 12 guests.

“It’s a great day for the families and friends who have invested their time and efforts, blood, sweat and tears into getting a building like this ready,” Shelby mayor Steven Schag said.  “We have some grand plans and designs in the makings and it’s likely that this business will be a part of the unfolding of some very good things in the future for the city of Shelby.”

The store’s shelves are lined with unique clothing sets and pieces, specifically designed for little ones.

“There’s so many cute things here that I’ll probably be a frequent flyer” Gribben said just prior to the ribbon-cutting.
