MANSFIELD — Catalyst Life Services president and CEO Veronica Groff presented Avita Health System with the “We made it Happen! Top Dollar Team” trophy Thursday, June 15, in the lobby of its Ontario location at the Richland Mall.
Eight phone bank volunteers from Avita raised $8,490 during their scheduled phone bank hour which was the 2 p.m. Crawford County hour hosted by Kelby King and Jeff Urban. That work took place during the 26th annual Rehab Telethon on Saturday, Feb. 4 from noon to 9 p.m.
The phone bank volunteers were: Kim Winkle, Myles Creed, Lindsey Gardiner, Andie Terry, Candee Hall, Jennifer Taylor, Brandy Wharton, and Jessi Ganson.
This marked the fourth year for the “We Made it Happen! Top Dollar Team” trophy. Last year Avita also won the trophy by raising $4,865
Second place this year goes to Mechanics Bank by only $30. It’s total was $8,460.
A special thank you to many of the Avita doctors that called in their pledges. The total amount raised was through numerous donations that added up rather than a large contribution.
