On Monday, September 7, 2026, Diane Ruth (Calendine) Winemiller, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, departed this life to be in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 83.

Diane was born August 26, 1943, in Zanesville, Ohio to Nelson and Kathryn (Tucker) Calendine. She was the sixth of nine children, including Carol (Klintworth), Sylvia (Wheeler), Kip, Nancy (Hamilton), Laura (Volz), Brian, Kathy, and Amy (Arnett).

Diane lived in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin for a brief period as a child as her father was transferred there from Ohio with Omar Bakery. Another transfer led the family to Beloit, Wisconsin for a few years then on to Lexington, Ohio, where she graduated high school in 1961.

Diane enjoyed a variety of hobbies in her life, including a bowling league while in Lexington, Ohio and she enjoyed great success selling Christmas Around the World products through home parties.

On November 23, 1968, Diane married the love of her life, Donald Owen Winemiller. She and Don enjoyed traveling to Europe and Hawaii and sites around the good ol’ U.S. of A. Travel was a great pleasure of theirs.

Diane loved her family fiercely and cared for them well with fabulous home-cooked meals and pies. She was a gifted hostess, sharing, loving hospitality with family, friends, and her beloved church family.

Diane served in the church in many capacities. She was a self-taught pianist who played in church when needed. She had a beautiful singing voice, and she enjoyed being in the choir and singing specials at the church. She also helped in the nursery and provided meals – doing her best to serve her Savior, loving those around her. The greatest love of her life is her Lord and Savior Jesus, and her family rejoices to know that she resides in Christ’s presence today – hallelujah!

Diane is survived by her daughter Robyn (Matt) Fletcher; her son Matthew (Dawn) Winemiller; grandchildren, Michael Parchem, Erika (Tyler Myers), Emilee Fletcher, Brianna (Noah Watkins), Brayden, and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Lukas Parchem, Brooke, Sadie, Grace, and Owen Myers.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Winemiller on September 23, 2021.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
