MANSFIELD — The Richland County Park District’s Pollinator and Native Plant Festival is back this year, and it’s bigger than ever.

The Festival will take place on Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Gorman Nature Center.

All-A-Flutter Butterflies will set up a live butterfly exhibit again, thanks to a generous sponsorship from Buckeye Express Carwash. The Butterfly House will be available all day on Saturday, as well as Tuesday through Friday the following week.

In addition to the Butterfly House, there will be native plant vendors, a local artist, informational tables, the MRCPL Bookmobile, and HoneyB Express Coffee.

The Park District will also offer programming throughout the day, including guided pollinator hikes through the prairies. At 1 p.m., the Richland County Park District will have a showing of “The Extraordinary Caterpillar.”

Space is limited, so arrive early to ensure you get a seat. It should be a fun day full of activities for kids and adults.
