MANSFIELD — We are excited to announce the celebration of Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center’s ten year anniversary.
The celebration will be held Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 1:30 to 5:00 at 276 Harker Street Mansfield, OH 44903 with a carnival theme; including bounce houses, face painting, a balloon artist, food and drinks and more! All community members are welcome to attend and celebrate with us!
A lot of community members are familiar with the location as Happy Time Child Care which was run by the iconic Inez Shepard for over fifty years.
On September 2, 2016, the center was reopened by Christole Page under the name, Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center. The child care center is named after Christole’s maternal grandmother, Lorine Young. Lorine shared a special relationship with each of her grandchildren and Christole wanted to name the center in honor of her.
Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center currently serves children ages six weeks through six years old. The center is one of the few center’s that cater to preschool children attending other preschool programs. The center encourages learning through all avenues and will happily assist with putting preschool children on and off the bus. The center also offers transportation for other preschool programs that do not have bussing or do not bus in the jurisdiction.
At Lorine’s Little Learners Child Care and Learning Center it is our goal to provide a safe, stable and fun environment for all children that attend our program. The Center is currently rated bronze and is proud to announce it will be Silver rated by the end of August 2026.
