Rhonda L. LaRue, age 75 of Galion, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 19, 1950 to the late Clifford Conant and Helen (Davis) Hollandsworth in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, she graduated from Cardington High School in the class of 1968. She retired from Morrow County Hospital in the registration department. In her younger years, Rhonda enjoyed crocheting and calligraphy writing. She will be missed by family and friends.
Those who will cherish her memories include her children, Trena (Terry) Taylor of Galion, Ohio and Shawn (Christina) Ghent of Galion, Ohio; her grandchildren: Cassie Stover, Andrea Kelly, Vince Bail, Miranda Brown, Terrahl Taylor, Brittany Taylor, and Jasmin Bukovich; her many great grandchildren; her siblings: Donald (Alicia) Conant of Willard, Ohio and Elton (Cheryl) Conant of Marion, Ohio; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark LaRue, whom she married in June, 2001 and her brother, Mickey Hollandsworth.
Friends and family may come to honor her life on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Galion Amvets Post #1979, 420 Harding Way E, Galion, OH 44833.
