Marcie Annette (Long) Hess, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026. Born on March 28, 1957, in Mansfield, Ohio, Marcie lived a life centered around family, love, and simple joys.
Marcie married the love of her life, Randy Hess, in 1975, and together they shared many years of memories, laughter, and devotion. She worked at Hi-Stat and was known for her hardworking nature and caring spirit.
She especially cherished family gatherings and treasured the time she spent watching Disney movies with her great-granddaughters. Marcie also enjoyed mushroom hunting, riding motorcycles, and fishing — hobbies that brought her peace and happiness throughout her life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Hess; daughter, Jamie (Victor) Earhart; grandchildren, Joshua (Julia) Culbertson and Kyler Culbertson; great-grandchildren, Eleanor Culbertson and Margot Culbertson; sister, Janice Beavers; and mother, Lizzie Clem.
Marcie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Wesley Hess; father, Leonard Long; brother, James Long; and her in-laws, Billy and Mary Hess.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield.
