Kaleb Ford Bolen, age 29, of Ada, passed away surrounded by family, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Born on January 10, 1997, to Douglas Bolen and Joann Gibson in Willard, Ohio, Kaleb loved the outdoors, enjoyed shooting guns, and playing summer softball. More than anything he loved being a dad. His children were his proudest accomplishment.
He will be remembered for his humor, his personality that filled every room, and the countless memories he leaves behind with family and friends. Though his loss is deeply felt, so is the love and laughter he brought and will continue to bring into the lives of everyone who knew him. Kaleb leaves behind memories that his loved ones will cherish forever.
Those who will cherish his memory include his mother, Joann Gibson; his father, Douglas Bolen; his fiancé, Kiya Bierly; his children, Hayden Bolen, Kinzley Bolen, Octavia Gipson, a baby girl on the way – Lylah Bolen; his sister Hayley Bolen; brother Cory Francis; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends and family may come to honor his life Tuesday, May 12, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Pastor Bruce Copley will officiate with interment held at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kaleb’s memory to his children, in care of his sister, Hayley Bolen.
