Sally Marie Hartford, 70, of Crestline, passed away on April 4, 2026, at her home.
Sally was born on August 21, 1955, in Minidoka, ID to the late James and Bessie Hill.
Sally found her greatest joy in the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love that will live on for generations. Sally shared a special bond with her son, Mike. With a smile and a playful, friendly gesture, she would often remind him he was always“#1”.
She had a deep appreciation for music, often filling her home with songs that matched her vibrant spirit. Sally also had a unique passion for collecting Native American paintings and memorabilia, treasures that reflected her admiration for culture, history, and storytelling.
Known for her outgoing and social nature, Sally was spirited and full of life—someone who could hold her own in any room, and, as many will fondly remember, could outdrink just about anyone during a lively night out.
Sally is survived by her husband, Lee Hartford, her son, Mike (Melissa) Steinberg; her grandchildren; Sidney Garison, Michael Steinberg II, Maci Steinberg, Chris Steinberg, Richard Barton and Mark Maillet; great-grandchildren; Calum, Jackson, Melanie, Gabrila, Stella Anne, Wyatt, Penelope, Bonnie Mae, Freedom and Sparrow; her siblings; Howard (Pattie) Hill, Bill Hill and Carol (Randy) Dresser; as well as special niece, Jocylen Odyer.
