Marjorie L. Dunn, age 93, of Galion passed away at her home, Saturday April 4, 2026.
Born June 13, 1932 in Sciotoville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Margie (Cheek) Birchem. She married Edward Dunn on September 24, 1948, and he preceded her in death.
Marjorie worked for many years as a telephone operator for GTE in Galion. She was a charter member of Wesley Chapel Church in Galion where she was very active for many years in the leadership of the church. She enjoyed crocheting and took great pride in her 13 star flag afghans. She enjoyed doing puzzles and word searches at home. She liked to drive and travel to many places. She enjoyed sporting events and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three daughters: Pam (Don) Barchus, Loretta (Mike) Kline and Vickie (Jim) Fry, eight grandchildren: Stephanie (Aaron) Bassham, Andy (Whitney) Barchus, Benjamin (Amy) Kline, Jon (Ashley) Barchus, Jordan (Matt) Sands, Whitney (Matt) Stransky, Cory (Amy) Fry and Madison (Cody) Ash, eighteen great grandchildren, sister Margie Lillian DeBorde and sister-in-law Gwen Dunn.
In addition to her parents and husband Edward, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Jim Fry, brother-in-law Charles Dunn, nephew Kenney Dunn and twelve brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday April 11, 2026 at Wesley Chapel Church, 240 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Joe Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
