Ricky Thomas Brooks, age 63 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026. He was born on June 20, 1963, in Mansfield to the late Earl Thomas and Janice (Searls) Brooks, and on June 27, 1987, he married the love of his life, Robin (Swanger).
Rick worked for Archway for many years. He was an avid football fan, always making sure to catch the Cleveland Browns and Michigan games, and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He liked classic cars, remote-controlled cars, and good music. Above all else, he loved his family. He treasured every moment spent with his wife, children, and beloved grandkids. He will be so dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Robin Brooks; his children Amber (Nick) Wallace and Nathan Thomas Brooks; his grandchildren Lilly and Emma Wallace and Jeff Brooks; his aunt Faye; and his beloved all-white German shepherd Mia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Janice Brooks and his brother Mike Brooks.
Per Rick’s wishes, no formal services will be observed.
