Floria Annette Thomas, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Friend, Aunt, was born October 25th 1960 and passed away suddenly on October 23, 2026.
She leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Jeffrey Thomas. Her Daughters, Jennifer (Sam) Skala, Billie Jo Hinds, Angel Hinds (Jr), Charlie Bettis, Tonya Edwards (Roy). Grandbabies, Samantha (Terry), Christopher (Ashlie), Breonna (Seth), Sean, Lil Chris (Caitlyn), Cameron, Matthew (Alejandra), Maria, Trent, Emily, Autumn (Nathan), Ayden & Jackson. Her 16 great grandbabies McKenzie, Mathew, Mercy, Myron, Nessy, Waitman, Colt, Rowen, Reagan, Vivian, Kale, Elijah, Lincoln, Lily, Emmett & Isabella. Sisters, Rebecca (Gary) Sanchez, Bonnie (Bill) Adkins, Diana (James) Blevins & Betty Shepherd. Also, her children’s father & best friend Charles Hinds (Sharon). An army of nieces and nephews.
Flo lived a life of love, compassion & strength. Nothing meant more to her than her family! She was a fierce protector and a guiding constant light that we all revolved around. She was our rock! She was a friend, motherly figure or became “Aunt Flo” to anyone she met. She was the most caring person you would ever meet.
Flo was preceded in death by her parents, Norma Jean Cole & Therman Shepherd Sr., her brothers, Therman Jr. and Eddie Shepherd, and her grandson Tyrese Ginns.
We will celebrate her life and love on Friday, October 30th at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield, Ohio 44905,with calling hours at 11 AM until her funeral service at 1 PM where you may share a memory with the family in celebration of her life. She meant so much to so many. We will escort her to her final resting spot at Mansfield Cemetery up on the hill Jeff always talks about.
The family will have a reception dinner to follow at Werner Gompf. Bring a dish if you would like to. As always with Flo the coffee will be on.
