Anne M. Dever age 70, of Mansfield, passed away at her residence on October 22, 2026.
Born in Ashland County on February 20, 1956 the daughter of George W. and Mary L. (Caley) Dever Jr. she was a resident of Ashland and Richland counties all of her life.
Anne was a graduate of Hillsdale High School and Ohio University with a Bachlors Degree and also Ohio State University with a Masters Degree. She had been employed as a teacher with Richland New Hope until she retired. She was passionate about animals and owned and rescued many dogs providing them with a loving life.
Surviving are three brothers and sister’s in law: Doug (Gena) Dever of Mansfield, Ben (Janine) Dever of Maine, and Matt (Georgette) Dever of Kentucky. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Anne is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 28, 2026 at the Heyl Funeral Home.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday October 28, 2026 from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the funeral home.
