Bonnie McKinney, age 71 of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born on June 26, 1955, in Mansfield to the late Loran H. and Mildred M. (Davis) Burriss, and on April 4, 1986, she married her husband Luther “Pete” McKinney.
Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo and fishing, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and her dad. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Pete McKinney; her children John (Laura) Sowders and Heaven McKinney; her sister Marilynn (Liz) Davis; and her grandchildren Jasper and Spencer McKinney.
She was preceded in death by her parents Loran and Mildred Burriss, her stepdaughter Angelia McKinney, and her sisters-in-law Cindy and Kathi McKinney.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, no formal services will be observed.
