Steven M. Koehler, 62, passed away October 17, 2026, at his residence in Mansfield. He was born on November 14, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Charles and Ida Joan (Smith) Koehler.
Steven was a 1982 graduate of Ontario High School. Steven worked multiple jobs over the years, Car Parts Honda Dealership in Arizona, Koehler’s Construction alongside his brothers and nephews, and Pool Guys.
He enjoyed his family, working on cars, and races at Mid-Ohio Sports Course. Steven was a dedicated NASCAR fan and enjoyed his annual trips to Daytona 500 with his brother Bob.
He is survived by lifetime partner, Dana Leapley; daughter, Charity Koehler; brothers, Charles (Jacqueline) Koehler and Thomas Koehler; sisters, Mary Beth Koehler, Susan (McBride), Shella (Brett) Felger; many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Cynthia Koehler; and brother, Robert Koehler.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 60 S. Mulberry Street, Mansfield, OH 44903; a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
