Pamela Sue Wise, 62, formerly of Bucyrus, died unexpectedly at home in Shiloh on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
Pam was born on December 11, 1963 in Fort Hood, Texas to the late Robert D. and Kathleen S. (Bickley) Crabbs. After her father completed his military service, their family returned to the Shiloh area and Pam went on to graduate from Shiloh High School in 1981.
Pam worked for many years as a general manager at Bucyrus Wendy’s and also for her family business, Bob and Bob Door. Both were rewarding experiences and have led to some long-term friendships.
Pam was unfailingly kind to anyone she encountered and devoted any time possible to those she loved, especially her grandchildren. She took great joy in spending time with her oldest grandson, participating in DeMolay and her granddaughter in Rainbow. No matter what her grandchildren were involved with, Pam was present and supportive.
She was a member of the Ruth Chapter #17, Order of Eastern Star, where she served as a past Worthy Matron; and was also a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post 26 in Mansfield. In earlier years, Pam enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with her close circle of friends and has always enjoyed reading, especially if it was good fantasy novel.
She will be missed by her daughter, Misty (Brandon) Stricklin of Shiloh; grandchildren, Caleb Stricklin, Alexandria Liles, Galen Stricklin and Jensen Stricklin; sister, Deborah Newmeyer; niece, Sarah Crabbs and nephew, Robert Newmeyer.
Along with her parents, Pam was preceded in death by daughters, Crystal Ann Wise and Brandy Marie Wise.
Her family will receive friends from 4 – 6 pm on Friday, October 16 at Wise Funeral Service, 129 W. Warren St. in Bucyrus. The evening will conclude with an Eastern Star Service beginning at 6:15 pm. Pam will be privately laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
