Alissa Nicole Harris-Edmond, 19 of Crestline, passed away at her home on October 5, 2026.
Alissa was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on April 12, 2007, and was raised by her parents, Dave and Sharon (Stevey) Edmond Sr. who survive her in Crestline.
Alissa was a bright light who brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a beautiful smile that could light up any room, and her infectious giggle had a way of making others smile right along with her.
Alissa had a special love for music. If a song had a good beat, you could count on Alissa to boop along and enjoy every moment. She also treasured her beloved stuffed animal, Bunny-Bunny, who was always close by.
Alissa loved to joke and play, especially with her nurses. One of her favorite games was “fetch”—she would throw something and patiently wait for her nurses to retrieve it, only to do it all over again. Alissa faced each day with a wonderful spirit and a positive attitude. Her playful personality, beautiful smile, and infectious laughter touched the lives of many.
In addition to her parents, Alissa is survived by her siblings; Tiffany (Steve) Williams of Wheeling, WV, Christian Edmond of San Antonio, TX, David Edmond Jr. of Crestline, Austen Edmond of Moundsville, WV, Noah Edmond of Crestline, and Samara Edmond of Crestline.
In honor of Alissa, memorial contributions may be made to The Ronald McDonald House.
