Richard Robert Boyce, age 67, former resident of Shiloh Ohio passed away on September 28, peacefully at home following a brief battle with cancer. On August 12, 1959 he was born in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late William Boyce and Elinor Rape. On June 10, 1978 he married Debra Raff at the First English Lutheran Church and they shared 48 years together.
Rick worked for Enman Stamping and Assemblies for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, birdwatching, vacations at the ocean, and watching his favorite football team the Bengals. His proudest achievement was his family.
Rick Boyce would do anything to provide, protect and be there for his family. He was the hardest working father and husband. Rick would do anything for his daughters, Michelle and Stephanie. He was there for them during hard times and showed up whenever he was needed, never complaining, just doing what needed to be done. He taught them how to fish, camp, fix things and how to just slow down and enjoy simply hanging out in the garage, listening to music.
He is survived by his wife Debra; daughters, Stephanie (Michael) McConnell and Michelle (Brian) Sweeney; grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Collin and Allison and bonus grandchildren, Sativa, Iris and Molly; sister, Barb (Ballard Baker); sister-in-law Freda Boyce and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother David Boyce and his parents.
Per his request, no funeral service services will be held.
