Earl A. Swiney, 85, of Mansfield, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, while in the care of Arbors at Mifflin Nursing Home. He was born on April 26, 1941, in Delta, CO, the son of Hubart A. and Alvina Alice (Overby) Swiney.
Earl proudly served his county in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Era and was a retired Copper Miner.
Surviving are his three stepdaughters Kimberley (Philip) Iseman, Karen (Charles) Calvin, and Rhonda (Steven) Sharp; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hubart and Alvina Swiney; his wife of 40 years Shelby Jean (Spears) Swiney; and several siblings.
No services are scheduled at this time.
