Margaret “Ann” Beam, age 85, of Mount Gilead, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026. Born on June 8, 1941, she was the cherished daughter of the late Louis E. Yetzer and Treva Jane Zehner Yetzer.

Ann was a graduate of Shelby High School, Class of 1958, and went on to attend The Ohio State University Beauty Academy in Columbus. She was a woman who truly exuded class; her grace, elegance, and dignity left a lasting impression on everyone she met. On October 14, 1961, she married the love of her life, Gary Neil Beam. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on love, family, and shared devotion. Gary preceded her in death, and after many years apart, they are now peacefully reunited.

As the matriarch of her family, Ann’s timeless style and gentle strength guided generations. She was incredibly blessed to witness the beautiful extension of her legacy, living to proudly see five generations of her family grow.

She is survived by her children, Michael Beam and Patrick (Molly) Beam; her grandchildren, Tiffany (Chris) Zeger, Taylor (Mark) Boggs, Madeline Beam and Ashlie Hatcher; her cherished great-grandchildren, Mackenzie (Hunter) Mariotti, Madison (Duston), Jillian and Beau Zeger, and Beckett and Brodie Boggs and Lilith and Lydia Hatcher; and her great-great-grandchildren, Gunnar and Griffin Mariotti.
Along with her parents and her beloved husband, Gary, she was preceded in death by her infant brother, William Yetzer.

Visitation will be Monday, September 14, 2026, from 5-7 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel (2553 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, OH 44904). Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 15 at 10 am in Shauck Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ann’s name to the Morrow County Dog Shelter.
