Marjorie Ann Baldridge of Mansfield went home to be with her Lord on Sunday morning, September 6, 2026, at Crystal Care Nursing Center of Mansfield. She was 91 years old.
Born December 27, 1934, in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was one of seven children of the late Pearl (Evans) and Rev. Arthur Lowe. Marjorie was a generous, loving, sweet and funny lady who had a bit of an ornery streak in her. She was loved by all who knew her. Family was most important to her, and get-togethers and holidays were a favorite time where she was able to celebrate her large and loving family. Making memories with those she loved was a gift she never took for granted.
Marjorie was a member of Walker Lake Baptist Church and never missed church. She loved her church family and, although she would miss her earthly family, welcomed going home to be with her Savior. She had a servant’s heart and volunteered in many capacities within the church. She also was diligent in supporting the missionaries and collected quarters each Sunday and once accumulated $5000 in support. She loved to travel, especially on cruises. She enjoyed wintering in Florida to escape the dreary and cold Ohio weather. Marjorie was an expert at thrift shopping and found many unique treasures over the years.
Marjorie is survived by three sons, David (Beth) Baldridge, Mike (Sheri) Baldridge, and Jeff (Angie) Baldridge; three daughters, Theresa (David) Webb, Rhonda Raphael, and Deb Kiser; three honorary children, Pete (Lori) Gailey, Tammy (Jeff) Crabtree, and Deborah (Jeff) Dawson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ruthie Gillette; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, Harold “Squirrel” Baldridge; second husband, Glen Gailey; daughter, Debbie Baldridge; three brothers, Paul, Richard, and Rev. Arthur Lowe; two sisters, Bertha Sommers and Esther Bartlett; a son-in-law, Garry Kiser; a sister-in-law, Donna Lowe; and an honorary son-in-law, Erin McKee.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 am with Pastor Jack Williams officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in care of Walker Lake Baptist Church, Missionary Fund.
