LeRoy W. Miller Jr. passed away peacefully after an extended illness, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at age 84.

LeRoy was born December 23, 1941 in Galion, Ohio to the late LeRoy and Barbara Miller. He married Helen Sipes July 15, 1961and she precedes.

LeRoy grew up on the family farm in Morrow County and attended and graduated from Iberia High School in 1959. He attended Ebenezer UMC most of his life. In his early years LeRoy did Chalk talks and was a lay leader. During LeRoy’s senior year he asked Helen Sipes to go to her prom with him; after the prom he proposed; they were married in July and spent 62 happy years together and are now joined together again. LeRoy worked at HPM in Mt Gilead and Timken in Bucyrus. LeRoy loved gardening, in which he shared many, many of his vegetables with family and friends. He loved beekeeping, raising flowers, and making flower arrangements for the church. LeRoy even entered his flower arrangements in shows at the fair and Kingwood Center; winning many ribbons. He was a man of many talents. In later years he wrote music and had his songs recorded.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Donna (Michael) Yaussy and Mark (Melody) Miller; his grandchildren, Daren (Jessica) Yaussy, Jacob (Sarah) Yaussy, Hannah (Keith) Keeler, Elizabeth Yaussy, Mark (Brittany) Miller, Nathaniel (Jennifer) Miller, Sarah (Shane) Diven, and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Linda Sidell and sister in-law, June Sipes; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia and Janet Miller, and his brother, Marvin Miller.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday September 12, 2026 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 8652 State Route 19, Galion Ohio 44833, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 pm with Rev. Sandy Stover and Rev. Don Christensen officiating. Burial will follow at Iberia Cemetery.
