Bruce W. Bannert, 57 of Mansfield Ohio passed away on August 29, 2026 at home following a long fight with Cholangiocarcinoma. On May 15, 1969 he was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Dieter and Diana Bannert. On January 20, 2020, he married Molly Miller at the Congregation Church.
He had worked at Moyer’s of Crestline and American Standard, where he was in shipping and receiving.
Bruce loved the outdoors, campfires, and enjoyed the beach on Sanibel Island in Florida. He also traveled to Germany, often in his youth to visit relatives. He especially loved walking his golden retrievers, Lucy and Annie. His proudest achievement was his marriage to Molly and his 12 years of sobriety. Bruce was kind hearted, loved by many, had a great sense of humor and loved life.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Molly Miller; his twin brother, Bryon (Renee) Bannert of North Fort Myers, Fl.; brother-in-law, Matt (Amy) Miller of Mansfield and Mike (Kristi) MIller of Dallas, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
