Patricia Ann Andonach, 80, of Butler, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2026. Patricia was born on June 2, 1946, to Richard E. Hoffman and Kathleen (Hunt) Hoffman. She was a graduate of Madison High School. She married the love of her life, Raphael “Andy” Andonach in 1965. They shared 60 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and many cherished memories.
Pat was a hardworking and giving woman who was always willing to lend her time and talents to others. She helped with the family business, keeping the books for A&M Auto Wrecking. She also worked at the Butler Branch of Richland Bank.
She truly enjoyed her time as a volunteer at Butler Elementary with her long time friend, Cathie Kinley’s first-grade classroom, where many of the children affectionately knew her as “Grandma Pat.” Her faith was an important part of her life. Pat was a devoted member of North Bend Church in Butler, where she found fellowship, friendship, and a church family throughout the years. She loved reading, sewing, gardening, canning, and working in her flower beds. She had a true love for the outdoors and took great joy in sharing that love with her children and grandchildren. She was also a member of the North Liberty Garden Club. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, her generosity, kindness, creativity, and willingness to give of herself touched the lives of countless people.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Raphael “Andy” Andonach; son, Michael Andonach and Hope Gheen; daughter, Lara (Jeff) Dalton; grandson, Austin (Brittany) Yarman; granddaughter, Katie Mickley; five great-grandchildren with another one on the way; brother, Larry (Cindy) Hoffman; nephew, Grahm Hoffman; ex-sister-in-law and lifelong friend, Danette Pratt; and niece, Rachel Jordan. She was also blessed with many amazing cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister-in-law, Judy Collard.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
