MANSFIELD – A Mansfield man was killed Tuesday night after a motorcycle crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Wesley Perdue, 27, of Mansfield, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Patrol stated.
The incident took place on South Trimble Road near West Cook Road in Madison Township, at 11:27 p.m.
The preliminary investigation shows a 2009 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic was traveling south on South Trimble Road. The Harley Davidson traveled off the right side of the roadway while negotiating a curve, striking a sign.
The Mansfield Police Department, Richland County Sheriff’s Office, Mansfield Fire Department, Madison Fire Department, Mansfield Street Department, Morrow County Sheriffs Office, and Ronk’s Towing assisted on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
