Arthur “Art” Robles, a devoted husband, proud father, treasured grandfather, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away unexpectedly into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Born in Alice, Texas on October 22, 1953, to the late Santiago Robles, Sr. and Olivia (Garcia) Robles, Art moved with his family as a young boy to Willard, Ohio. He was a proud 1973 graduate of Willard High School and Pioneer JVS. Shortly after graduation, in July 1973, Art began a long and dedicated career as an engineer with Columbia Gas Transmission, retiring in 2014 after 41 years of faithful service and hard work.
On August 18, 1973, Art married the true love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Donna (Wright) Robles. Together, they built a home grounded in faith, deep affection, and unwavering devotion, raising their family in the Mansfield and Lucas area.
Art was a man of strong character and gentle warmth whose greatest joy in life was simply being surrounded by his family. Known for his tireless work ethic, he was always the first to lend a helping hand with projects big and small. He had a deep love for the outdoors, but nothing brought him more peace than sharing quiet moments at the beach alongside his beloved Donna. Above all, Art loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Diamond Hill Cathedral in Mansfield. He lived his life as a shining example of faith, devotion, and sacrificial love.
Art’s legacy lives on through his cherished wife of 53 years, Donna; his beloved children, Stacey (Terry) Fairchild, Stephanie (Ryan) Rook, Shaun (Lesley) Robles, and Scott (Kimberly) Robles; his 6 adored grandchildren, Emilee Robles, Thorn (Sophia) Fairchild, Talon (Jordon) Baker, Raygen (Branden) Glass, Juliet Robles, and Dominic Robles; and his 9 cherished great-grandchildren, Ellie and Eyla Janssen, Ophelia, Avery, and Ezra Baker, and Killian, Koen, Renley, and Ruby Glass. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Robles Trevino; his mother-in-law, Clara Wright; as well as many dear brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Santiago Sr. and Olivia Robles; his sisters, Clara Herrera and Margie Gundrum; his brother, Santiago Robles II; his father-in-law, Wallace Wright; and his precious great-granddaughter, Haddie Wren Baker.
While his family will miss him beyond measure, they take immense comfort in knowing that Art is resting peacefully with his Savior, and they hold fast to the blessed promise that they will be reunited again.
Calling hours and funeral service honoring the life of Arthur will be held at Diamond Hill Cathedral, 500 Tingley Avenue in Mansfield. Calling hours will be 4pm-7pm, Thursday August 27, 2026 and on Friday, August 28, 2026 calling hours will begin at 11am with the Funeral service at 12pm. Reverend Charles Carrier will be officiating the service. Private interment will follow the service.
