ONTARIO — A Lexington man was killed Sunday morning during a one-vehicle crash in the Ontario Walmart parking lot, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Max Longwell, 22, of Lexington, traveled through the parking lot, striking a block retaining wall, the patrol said. Longwell was transported to Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The crash took place at around 8:55 a.m. According to the patrol, a black 2023 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Longwell, traveled through the parking lot, striking a block retaining wall.
The crash remains under further investigation. Assisting agencies on scene were Ontario Police Department and Laurence’s Towing.
