RICHLAND COUNTY — Construction projects will prompt road closures in Madison and Jefferson townships, beginning Monday, Aug. 24, according to Richland County Engineer Adam Gove.
In Madison Township, the westbound lane of Cook Road East will be closed between Mansfield-Washington Road and Mansfield-Lucas Road from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 for a pavement repair project.
Westbound traffic will be detoured via Mansfield-Lucas Road to Mansfield-Washington Road, before reconnecting with Cook Road East.
In Jefferson Township, Rhinehart Road will close between Rule Road and Dill Road on Aug. 24 for a culvert replacement. The road is expected to remain closed for four days, weather permitting.
