Charles Joseph Murphy, 89, left this earth on July 17, 2027. He was born February 23 1937 in Wheeling, WV.
Charles is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann; sons Chris, Ed and Tim; daughter in law Sara; three grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews in West Virginia; life-long friend of over 60 years Tony Pasquarella.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth and Carl Murphy; two sisters Doris and Sr. Mary Charles; two brothers Bob and Louie.
Upon obtaining a Masters Degree from WVU, Morgantown, West Virginia, he joined the faculty at Ohio State University Mansfield in 1962 and taught there until his retirement 30 years later.
No services will be held.
