Kimberly Sue McKinney, 65, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Born on May 29, 1961, Kimberly was the beloved daughter of the late Billy and Loraine (Glass) Auflick.
Kimberly found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Coming from a large family, she especially looked forward to family reunions and treasured the memories made with those she loved. She had a deep appreciation for nature and enjoyed being outdoors, often watching the birds and chipmunks that visited her yard. She was known for her willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Kimberly enjoyed tinkering with and repairing lawn mowers and string trimmers, always finding satisfaction in fixing things. In her quieter moments, she liked keeping up with current events by watching the news on television. Kimberly will be remembered for her kind heart, helpful spirit, love of family, and appreciation for the simple joys of life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Jodi) McKinney Jr., stepfather, Keith Bud Glass “Pops”, several grandchildren, siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Gary McKinney Sr. and her aunt Chris.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services held. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
