Kimberly “Kim” Kay Al-Humoud, 62, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She was born on January 28, 1964, to the late William and Janet (Grimmwood) in Galion, Ohio.
Kim graduated from Galion High School in 1982. After graduation, she went on to work as a secretary at Elliot Machinery.
She met her beloved husband, Ahmad Al-Humoud, on December 26, 1982, and the two were married on March 25, 1989. In 1993, they moved to Kuwait, where she dedicated 18 years of her career as a preschool teacher, touching the lives of countless young children and their families.
Kim will be remembered most for her generous heart and the love she poured into caring for others. Whether she was looking after family, friends, or anyone in need, she always made those around her feel welcomed, supported, and loved.
She found great joy in celebrating life’s special moments and had a remarkable talent for decorating her home for every holiday. Her cherished collection of holiday trees remained on display year-round, each thoughtfully transformed to reflect the changing seasons and celebrations.
Left to cherish Kim’s memory are her beloved husband, Ahmad; her daughters, Sarah (Mazen Sabri) Al-Humoud and Norah Al-Humoud; and her siblings, Kathy (Kirk) Pinyerd and Bill (Cyndee) Price.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents, William and Janet; her sister, Kristy Hatcher; and her niece, Kasey Pinyerd.
